As if Aileen’s jewelry wasn’t enough to write about, today she brought me in 5 CDs to add to the Planet Art playlist. It’s crazy — one song is jazz, one is 80’s, oh wait, right now it’s some french accordian song — this is too cool.

Ai (Aileen) brought some new pieces and rearranged her jewelry for me. It looks awesome.

I try not to complain publicly too much, but…
Every morning after my happy walk to work I arrive to at least 4 cigarette butts on the sidewalk outside the gallery and I have to get a tissue and pick them up, ew (double ew when they have goobs of red lipstick on them). I have no problem with people smoking, it’s a free country, but when it comes to littering I draw the line.
I have an idea. I think I will invent a portable handsome looking ashtray. This may be my next multimillion dollar idea (when I say next I really mean my first).
I guess I should just be happy that people are stopping in front of Planet Art to have their relaxing smoke and take a good long look at some really great art.
I have read that they are downgrading Pluto to a dwarf planet. Pluto was my favorite planet, if they can downgrade a cool (cold really) planet like Pluto, what about Planet Art? Could it now become Dwarf Planet Art?

Greg’s out of town so I’m a little lonely here, lucky for me my buddy Simon is into art and is hanging out at the gallery with me.

We have new artist in the Planet Art family. Welcome Karen Howell and her charming tiles. We have candle holders, soap dishes, wall tiles, and hot plates.

We have the new Dream Pots. These are perfect for wedding gifts — the bride and groom write down their dreams and put them in the pot and don’t open it for 20 years, so sweet. Sandy also brought us some really cool sushi plates. All of these are priced well under $100, a steal.

We added another table so we can show more cool art.

Two of our glass artists brought in new pieces today. Vi Laux brought 4 new bowls and Robin Schoss brought two new mosaics. I tried to get decent pictures, but they are really much more impressive in person.
New art has arrived. Rachel Sager brought in a newly finished mosaic piece, it’s fantastic and I have pictures to prove it. Check out the 24k accents.
