Light Up Night was great. Aileen’s display looked fantastic, all her jewelry is amazing. Morningside rocked out, I tried to get a good picture of them, but they just wouldn’t keep still. The guitarist, Matt, won the free $50.00 Gift Certificate raffle, well deserved!

Light Up Night

I sent out an email to my whole mailing list and the image didn’t show up for most of them. What is the deal with this. I spend way too much time trying to make images appear on the blog, the website, and in emails. Why can’t it be easy????

Anyway, next Thursday, 6-9pm, is Light Up Night. This is when Mt. Lebanon lights up the big tree down the block at Clearview Commons and Santa says “ho,ho” and all that. We have Aileen bringing loads of shiney, wonderful jewelry and Morningside is going to play and sing and we’ll have some snacks and wine.

We are also having two raffles. One for a $50.00 Planet Art Gift Certificate that is free and open to everyone who stops in. The other is one of Aileen’s Rectangle Necklaces and we are raffling it for $2.00 a ticket and all proceeds will go to the Michael Gmitter Scholarship Fund.

Mike was Aileen’s friend and helper and a very promising young artist. We had three amazing pieces that he had crafted here at the gallery.

So, come on in, check out the tunes and jewelry. Have a glass of wine or hot apple cider. It’ll be nice.
