Exciting News!!

Here’s something really cool.  Peggi Habets painting “Beatitude” is featured on the cover of Best of American Artists book (it’s also available for sale here).  That’s not all, another great artist, Barbara Curry, is listed as one of the best too.  Very exciting!

Another wet, cold day inside the gallery

I’m not sure I can stand another wet, cold day. The landlord didn’t pay the gas bill so they turned off the heat and it’s getting miserable. The restaurants insulate us a little so it’s about 64 degrees in here, but after sitting here all the day the damp cold just seeps into your skin. My fingers hurt.

This is what’s happening this week at Planet Art

Saturday is opening night of Boomerang, which is about 40 12″x12″ fiber art pieces that were on a tour of Australia and now are back in Pittsburgh.  We will have the artist reception on April 21.  Next Monday, the 16th, we have author Jay Schaffer coming to talk about his book “Stepping Out of the Parade” at 7:00.
